Ravenclaw
You belong in Ravenclaw — the house of intelligence, wit, wisdom, creativity, and a genuine love of learning for its own sake. Ravenclaws are not just book-smart: they are curious, original thinkers who find conventional approaches limiting and are always looking for a more interesting angle. The house colours are blue and bronze in the books (blue and silver in the films), the element is air, and the common room sits in Ravenclaw Tower, accessible through a door that asks a riddle rather than requiring a password. The house ghost is Helena Ravenclaw, known as the Grey Lady — the daughter of the house's founder, Rowena Ravenclaw. The most memorable Ravenclaw in the series is Luna Lovegood, whose unconventional thinking repeatedly proved more useful than conventional wisdom — she saw things others dismissed and was right about them. Cho Chang, a talented Seeker and one of the founders of Dumbledore's Army, was also a Ravenclaw. Professor Filius Flitwick, the Charms master, represented the house on the faculty. If this is your house, you think carefully before you speak, prefer depth to breadth, and find few things more satisfying than understanding something completely. You are probably comfortable being a little unusual and have little patience for intellectual dishonesty.
